Michigan Business Index falls to 8-year low! (And it is still falling)
Submitted by Eric on Thu, 05/22/2008 - 11:58Michigan Business Index falls to 8-year lowby Mark Fellows | Michigan Business Review Thursday May 22, 2008, 11:12 AM Michigan's economy dove to an eight-year low in the first part of the year, by one regional bank's calculation. Comerica Bank's Michigan Business Activity Index fell two points in April to a level of 99, the lowest level since December 2000. For the first four months of 2008 it averaged 2.5 points below the average for all of 2007.
